Not a chatbot. An operator.

Six things every Obssistant build comes with — tuned to how you already work.

A second brain for your agent

I write a custom CLAUDE.md that teaches it your folder structure, note types, tagging conventions — the lot. Every query draws on how you work.

Hands-on setup, not a PDF

The whole thing on a call. I configure it in your vault, demo it on your real notes, and make sure you can extend it yourself afterwards. No homework.

Skills that do real work

Custom slash commands for what you do every day — process captures, draft from notes, tag & link, summarise research. Workflows, not prompts.

Connected to your stack

Calendars, task managers, email, CRM — via MCP and APIs. Your agent acts in your world, it doesn’t just sit in your vault.

Persistent memory

Most AI tools forget the moment you close the tab. Yours keeps a living log of your projects, preferences, and decisions — getting sharper over time.

Accurate, repeatable, $20/mo to run

A human assistant costs hundreds and still drops things. Yours runs the same task the same way, every time, and rides on a single Claude subscription.

$20 / month, all-in

Real commands. Real workflows.

Four of the slash commands I use every single day. Yours will be tailored — these are just to show what’s possible.

/today — your daily kickoff

Reads your recent activity and context notes, then tells you what to work on today. No digging, no “where did I leave off?”. Open the terminal and ask.

/today
→ Scanned 3 daily notes, 7 active project files, last session log.
Today's focus:
1. launch/hero-copy.md — 2 versions to pick between
2. ops/onboarding.md — 1 reply needed (overdue)
3. Inbox: 4 captures to triage
✓ Suggested first move: open hero-copy.md

/crm — contacts without leaving Obsidian

Adds new subscribers, updates contact records, syncs with Kit (or your tool of choice), and triggers your sequences. All from the vault.

/crm add "Sara M. — sara@example.com — paid, launch cohort"
→ Created crm/contacts/sara-m.md
→ Synced to Kit · tagged paid, launch-cohort
→ Welcome sequence enrolled (3 emails over 7 days)
✓ Done in 1.4s

/content — outline anything

Takes an idea and turns it into a full outline ready to write from, pulling in the most relevant notes from your vault as it goes.

/content "essay on persistent agent memory"
→ Pulled 11 related notes from topics/AI & research
→ Detected angle: contrast with stateless chatbots
Outline drafted at drafts/persistent-memory.md:
• Hook · Why "fresh chat" is a tax
• The cost of forgetting
• What persistence looks like in practice
• Your first memory file
✓ Ready to write.

/close — wrap up cleanly

Updates the agent’s second brain with what you did, flags what’s next, and logs new tasks. Your tomorrow-self gets a head start.

/close
→ Logged session: 2h 14m, 3 files touched
→ Updated memory/active-projects.md
→ New tasks: 2 · Follow-ups queued: 1
→ Tomorrow's first move pre-loaded
✓ See you tomorrow.

Sensible questions.

Who builds this?+
I'm Theo Stowell. I've worked with Obsidian for four years, taught thousands of people how to use it for three, and built PARAZETTEL — a system used by hundreds of customers to turn their notes into real output. My work across the internet has racked up over a million impressions, and every day I help people go from scattered notes to a second brain that actually thinks back.
Do I need to know anything about AI or coding beforehand?+
No. I walk you through everything on the call. By the end you'll know how to use your setup and how to tweak it yourself. No technical background required.
What do I need installed before the call?+
Obsidian and a working vault. I handle the rest during the session. We install Claude Code and configure everything together.
How long is the setup call?+
Usually 60–90 minutes, depending on how complex your vault is. We don't rush — we keep going until everything works.
What does monthly follow-up include?+
Async support for any issues or questions, plus adjustments to your configuration as your workflow evolves. If something isn't working the way you want, I fix it.
Can I cancel the monthly follow-up?+
Yes, anytime. The setup is yours to keep regardless. The monthly support exists to make sure everything keeps working as your needs change.
What if my setup is more complex than average?+
Multi-vault configurations, team workflows, custom MCP integrations — I price those case-by-case. We talk it through on the discovery call and I give you a clear number before you commit to anything.
