About these Terms

These Terms govern your use of parazettel.com and purchases made through it from Theo Stowell trading as PARAZETTEL (“we”, “us” or “our”). Contact us at theo@parazettel.com. These Terms apply in addition to our Privacy Policy.

They cover the digital content and related educational material offered on the site, including the Minimal Note-Taking book pre-order and any included digital course or bonus stated at checkout. They do not replace the terms of a separate platform, such as Skool, where you choose to purchase or access a product directly through that platform.

Orders, price and payment

The product description, price, currency, payment frequency and any applicable tax are shown before you place an order and confirmed during Stripe Checkout. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method.

Stripe processes payments. Your contract is with us for the content described on the relevant product page and checkout confirmation; Stripe’s own terms also apply to its payment service.

We may correct obvious pricing or product-description errors before accepting an order. If we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we will tell you and refund any amount paid for the unavailable part.

Delivery and access

Unless the relevant product page or checkout says otherwise, digital content is provided electronically. For the current Minimal Note-Taking pre-order, the stated launch window and included material are shown on the book page and checkout confirmation. We may need your current email address to provide access or updates.

Keep your login, download links and access credentials secure. You may not share, resell, redistribute, sublicense or make the paid content publicly available without our written permission.

Cancellation and refunds

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. For digital content supplied immediately, Stripe Checkout may ask for your express consent to immediate supply and acknowledgement that you lose the usual cancellation right once supply begins. If it does not, your statutory cancellation rights continue to apply.

Our current goodwill policy for the Minimal Note-Taking pre-order is that you may request a refund before the book is delivered by emailing theo@parazettel.com. If digital content is faulty, not as described or not supplied with reasonable care and skill where applicable, you may have additional statutory remedies.

Acceptable use and intellectual property

All site and product content, including text, video, designs, course material and branding, belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use purchased digital content for your own use. You may not copy, adapt for distribution, sell, sublicense or exploit it commercially without our prior written permission.

You must not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use the content in a way that infringes another person’s rights or breaks the law.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site and digital content available and accurate, but they may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors. We may update or improve content, provided that any material change does not reduce a paid product below what was agreed at purchase without an appropriate remedy.

Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable, for losses caused by your misuse of the content, or for business losses where you buy as a consumer.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for future use of the site or future purchases. The version that applied when you placed an order will continue to apply to that order, unless a change is required by law or is clearly in your favour.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also have mandatory rights under the law of the country where you live. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
