This is the biggest news since the book came out: we’ve got our own platform now!

Everything used to run on Skool. Now it runs on the PARAZETTEL Platform, which I built myself. With AI doing the building, I put together in a couple of short afternoons what would have taken a team of developers weeks.

It’s custom-built to deliver programmes like PARAZETTEL Foundations and the upcoming Obssistant, along with the modules in our Classroom, resources, and live sessions.

Skool was a useful way to test courses and community as a business model, but it was always limited. It charged $99 a month for features you’d expect to be basic on any community platform, and it was rigid about how the community worked. Everything was forum-centric, and the classes and other communities all lacked depth, personality, and originality.

And so we turned things around, and developed our own platform in quite a short period of time, which you can read about in the piece below…

Introducing: The PARAZETTEL Platform!
Introducing: The PARAZETTEL Platform!

Why I replaced Skool with a custom PARAZETTEL Platform built around the Foundations, lesson progress, and the way I want to teach...

It’s very exciting, because we’ve got a lot of scope to build our own things now, and offer our current resources in a more flexible way. I was discouraged from doing so whilst I was using Skool, because fulfilment was so rigid, and there was really no way of integrating and automating individual attention and fulfilment from that platform.

Now we’re using standard tools and a custom interface, run from an Obsidian vault with agents on the backend to do the technical and fulfilment parts, even when I’m sleeping.

It’s very exciting, and in due time I’m going to tell you more about how the platform works and how I intend to grow things from on there.

Right now there’s only one way in: join PARAZETTEL Foundations, get started with the programme, and see what it’s like inside (if you were a member of the Community on Skool, you’ve already got an account!)

Lessons unlock daily (unless you’ve already completed them), and the Classroom modules go deeper on your specific use case whenever you want them.

Already inside? Log in to the platform and pick up where you left off.

You’re going to hear a lot more about the platform in the coming weeks, we’re going to have a little launch next weekend relating to the exciting new potential of this change, so thanks for being here early! I hope to meet you on the inside and show you what things are about.

Talk soon,

– Theo

P.S. I got a mechanical keyboard, and it makes a really nice sound when I type. Seeing as I’m in the UK until at least the new year, I thought I’d invest a little in upgrading my workspace.

I’m waiting on a mouse and a riser for my MacBook, and then I’ll be ready for whatever comes next.
