I’ve been very quiet on the newsletter front recently, as I promised in a broadcast a while back because until last Friday, I’ve been polishing and delivering the Minimal Note-Taking book.
That’s done now, and so I wanted to talk about that and a few other updates today.
This might be new for some of you, because I’ve not posted much since August (when we received an influx of new subscribers from some popular articles), but here’s the deal - from now I’m going to post the PZTL newsletter to your inbox every Sunday, letting you know the biggest, most important updates from the work I’ve done across the week.
So, with that said, let’s address the big news first…
Publishing the Minimal Note-Taking book

The Minimal Note-Taking book is finally here!
I worked on this project on-and-off since the end of last year, when I announced it from a hotel in Bangkok. Since March I’ve been back in the UK, and after a few more trips and a slightly more casual summer, I’ve spent the last couple of months heavily focused on getting this over the line.
And now it’s live. You can download it right now, and you’ll get the first edition in PDF and ePub, sent straight to your email after checkout.
Foundations is back next weekend

The other update is the return of PARAZETTEL Foundations…
Foundations first opened and ran as a pilot the end of July, and was really well received, but it’s been closed to new members since. This was deliberate, so I could give the book the attention it needed without being tempted to keep marketing instead, but now that’s done, we’re coming back!
Behind the scenes, I’ve been tidying things up and gathering feedback from the people already inside, and I’ll be ready to share it all with you next weekend. If you pick up the book now, you’ll also get discounted access when this happens (so scroll back up!).
Otherwise, you’re already on the list for Foundations updates and insights, so if you want to learn more, you just need to keep your eyes peeled.
More writing, more often
Beyond that, my focus is shifting back toward writing and sharing.
I’m going to spend more time on higher-quality long form Medium and YouTube content (whilst upping my output on LinkedIn and X), and build the structures that let me share more consistently than I have been previously. There’s a lot I’ve been wanting to write about, and now I’ve finally got the room to do it.
Even now, I’m building up a content routine that helps me write more every day, taking the pain out of posting on different platforms and administration of sharing content. It’s the little things like this that really drain on you, when all you want to be doing is writing in your Obsidian vault.
My improved agent-admin-managed process will be one of the first things I create a new video about too, so stay tuned!
Just to round-off again - If you’ve been waiting for the book to come out, it’s live now! Scroll back to the top for the page link, or go here.
See you soon,
— Theo
