I’m back in the UK!
For the time being, this means staying at my parents’ house, until I decide on a plan of action.
I’d love to make life in Asia more sustainable, moving there permanently in the upcoming winter, but it’s more difficult than I originally anticipated.
Why? Think trying to run a business whilst meeting people and doing things every day, moving locations and struggling with internet connection and connecting to your favourite websites.
And so in this issue I’m going to talk to you about how I’m trying to make this future a reality, even despite my previous, let’s call it failed, effort.
First of all…
PARAZETTEL Premium: Everything in the classroom under one roof

I’ve realised that recurring income is going to be what keeps me in more of a sustainable model whilst I’m living a lifestyle abroad and keeping the business running at the same time.
And so I’ve made things a lot simpler throughout PARAZETTEL by providing everything Premium (i.e. in the Community classroom) under a single roof.
Before you could buy different courses for different price points, some things were lifetime access, some monthly, and everything very confusing.
Now, you can get everything, with no confusion, and can get your first month half-price, so there’s much less of a barrier to seeing whether it’s a great fit.
Head to https://parazettel.com/upgrade to learn more about this set-up. If you’re already in the community, you’ll know what the classroom looks like but otherwise, check the page to see how things will look once you’re a Premium member.
This by and large ties into the simplicity lesson I have to keep teaching myself - every time I come up with something new that’s going to improve PARAZETTEL, I find that it’s productive procrastination, and that I should be focusing on getting my words and video in front of others’ faces, whether free on Medium and YouTube, or Premium via the classroom in the Community.
Either way, it’s something that I’m sticking to now that I’ve got more of a plan of sustainability and the headspace to make it happen. Stay tuned!
The first step in this direction (at least from a Premium perspective) is coming soon. I’ll tell you more about it later.
The next workshop

There was a comment on one of my articles a while back (the one about using Obsidian to build a website and AI to augment it), asking how I do such a thing.
So the next workshop that I’m hosting is going to be all about this—it’s on Sunday morning, at 8 am London time (I’m back on GMT now!).
You’ve got to be a Premium member to attend this workshop and watch the recording, so now’s a good time to listen to what I mentioned above - go to https://parazettel.com/upgrade and get 50% off your first month, so you can see what’s in store for you.
ProseLab’s new feature

I was talking with Luca and our friend Jeff the other day, and the topic was how we could possibly make more people become interested in ProseLab and sign up for the waitlist so that we have some traction when we launch.
The solution - a little snippet of the tool, where you write an extract of your own writing in the entry box, and we get back to you and tell you which classic author you sound like.
Unfortunately we changed one of the API keys for Anthropic that help this feature to run, but you can still head to the page below right now, see what I’m talking about, and sign up for the waitlist.
When you do, you’ll be informed when the prose-analysis comes back online, as well as receive more details about the app itself and what you can expect from it during pre-release…

That’s it for this week! Thank you for tuning in - I’m back in the UK for a fair while now, meaning less faffing around with timezones and getting connected.
I’m going to be working hard on bringing more note-taking education to you regardless of whether it’s free or Premium.
Looking forward to it!
