So it’s been almost two weeks since the Obsidian x Claude Code workshop.

At the end of the workshop and during the subsequent emails I said that we were going to keep the resulting course as a live resource, considering how fast the field has been moving.

And we’ve already seen some proof of this in the last couple of days.

Someone on Twitter created a Claude Code plugin that allows for the agent to build its own second brain, so that it can develop its own context about how you work and how you might want to use its features in your knowledge management.

Because the field is so large, I can’t provide a very detailed breakdown as of right now, but there are a couple of examples as to why this might be helpful in my latest article…

My Claude Code Now Has Its Own Second Brain in Obsidian

How I turned it into a personal assistant that lives in my Obsidian vault and learns my workflows…

Remember as well as this we’re still building the Claude Code x Obsidian Course, where I’m going to put my most in-depth prompts and insights.

If you head to the following link https://parazettel.com/courses/claude-code-x-obsidian you can get the course for a one-off payment.

Also see below for an even better deal - if you’re a community member you can unlock all of my courses for less than buying a single one outright. Here’s more information…

The community is free to join once again

As well as managing experimentation with AI and Obsidian, I’ve been wrestling with how best to manage the experience with the PARAZETTEL Community.

And I’ve decided to front load the value that you get when you join, which you can now do for free.

Go to the page below and sign up, and when I accept you (which will happen within 24 hours maximum), you’ll get 7 days of lessons and demos for the PARAZETTEL and other note-taking theory ideas…

(On day seven, once you’ve finished all the lessons, you’re going to get a special gift that’s the first of its kind that I’ve ever shared.)

Being AWOL (somewhat)

Since the workshop I’ve not posted many pieces of work. I’ve been enjoying Da Nang and the lifestyle here, because I have slightly more concrete plans to move back to the UK.

I’m doing a visa run so that I can remain in Vietnam and show my close friend around when she visits over Lunar New Year holidays next month, and then after this I’m heading to India to meet a very close friend from home, whose extended family lives near to Delhi.

After this, it’s time to head home, back to the UK.

The plan is to work hard on PARAZETTEL over the next six months, and head out to somewhere in Asia again next year. I hope to make it more permanent, now that I understand a little more about what it actually takes to live in a place like Da Nang.

Like usual, I’ll keep you up-to-date with where I’m heading and what I’m doing. There’s another workshop coming soon, about how I’m writing my book using Obsidian.

Perhaps AI will tie a little more into the research process than I first expected, especially considering everything I’ve been uncovering in the above articles and courses.

Sorry that there’s not been a PZTL letter for a while. I hope that this one’s been worth the wait though!
