In this issue, I’m announcing the newest course in the PARAZETTEL Community - Use Your Ideas.

This has taken more than a little while to put together, so much so that this broadcast has little snippets of when I was back in Australia and wanting to put the course out whilst over there as well.

In short, this didn’t work - I was drained whilst working on the farm, and then I had very limited time in the other cities to connect with all the friends I’d made who live over there, so I was non-stop for a couple of weeks.

Here’s what I was going to publish in this issue of PZTL (had it come earlier)…

"

Farm life

For a little more than the last week, I’ve been living in Queensland in Australia. After this, I’m going to Sydney, where I’m going to be able to focus 100% on my work again. (Note - I wasn’t able to - too expensive, too new an environment).

It was an experiment to see whether living on a farm and doing farm work to offset some of the cost of living in Australia was worthwhile.

In the end ,it wasn’t what I’m looking for, despite the savings. Australia’s a great place, and I want more time of my own to spend it on my own terms.

The things I value are this business, gym and spending time with people. All three of these were degraded in favour of saving a little bit of money.

And so I’m likely going to head back to Da Nang or Chiang Mai after Australia, where I think that I’ll be able to best focus on all of these again, with the more manageable cost of making this my lifestyle.

With all this being said, it won’t be long before the following course is completed and released…

"

But this issue as I was planning it never came, and instead I kept working, moved back to Da Nang (more on that later), and locked myself in a hotel room for a few days.

And finally, the new course is here…

Use Your Ideas Course

This video’s backdrop was the temporary workspace I had set up in Queensland whilst I was in Australia…

The goal with this course was to give you an overview of how to take ideas from genesis, to being acted upon in the most effective way possible.

We talk about effective idea capture, processing and finally use, with some completely new thoughts on the topic that I’ve never discussed before.

And this course is available to all premium members of the PARAZETTEL Community. If you’ve been wondering how to get in for a while, now might be your chance, and here’s why…

We’re still doing things as a monthly subscription alone, for all the content including the PARAZETTEL for Obsidian vault and course.

However, I’ve been planning and coming up with a new structure that’s more simple and sustainable, and we’re going to be doing a larger one-off price for vault and community access again in the future.

On top of this, we’re going to have regular workshops, which I’m planning and scheduling at the moment, seeing as I’ve removed all free members from the community in preparation to make access to the community a paid-only thing.

Head to the landing page below, and see if you want to start a trial, get inside, see and use the course, and upgrade if you’d like…

Back in Da Nang

I mentioned this a little in the above points - I’m back in Vietnam, at the place I’ve felt most at-home during the last 4+ months of travel now.

It’s because of this that I’ve been able to get the course out, and now I’m planning on accelerating the business’s progress now that I can sit down and focus.

It’s a great environment - for example yesterday I spent six hours editing and writing the course after recording much of the newer stuff the day before after some prep, and then I spent the rest of the afternoon surfing.

Anyway, now that life is a little more organised, we’re going to be building another new course for the community, live workshops as well as many more new videos and articles. That being said, here’s something I’ve published recently…

Addressing the Pandemic

A fun piece talking about how note-taking seems to be heading in a more and more complex, but somehow less-involved direction.

It seems everyone’s using more AI, more features and more clutter, but getting less done. This article talks about the right move to combat this, keep things simple and actually prioritise getting work done.

One more thing - we’ve finally uploaded all Medium articles to the PARAZETTEL website, so feel free to head to parazettel.com/articles and have a read; maybe you’ll discover something new!

Anyway, that’s it for this week’s issue - along with everything else, I’m going to be keeping on top of doing weekly versions of this newsletter now that there are more announcements, new content and updates to keep track of.

See you soon (Remember to head to the community and start your free trial),
