Welcome back,
This week I’ve got a lot of things to share, starting with some updates to the free stuff you can get from PARAZETTEL…
PARAZETTEL vault for free + Premium free trial
Since the Community is where I focus a lot of my energy now, I thought I’d grow the rewards that you get for being involved.
Here’s what this means for you…
When you join the Community, you get access to an intro course that walks you through the PARAZETTEL vault and explains the theory and practices I’ve used to develop it.
You get a video per day, by email and in the Community, so you’re not overwhelmed, and then at the end, you can download and use the PARAZETTEL vault in Obsidian for yourself.
There are instructions to install and get started, and the template in itself contains more information, as well as a skeleton you can plug your notes into immediately and start evolving your own processes from.
Check out the link below to join and access your benefits…
Aside from this, I posted a new article about how I use Obsidian (and Claude, more and more) to manage building custom websites that I can write to from inside Obsidian…

How I Manage All My Websites From Obsidian (Plain‑Text, No 3rd-Party Site Builder)
A Steph Ango-inspired workflow...
It goes over how I took inspiration from Steph Ango (Obsidian’s CEO), who builds his website in a very similar way, as well as how I used Cursor at first, and then Claude Code for custom adjustments to how the sites operate.
For a long time, I was managing many sites across many domains and site builders (from Carrd to Substack to Hugo, which is the current), to show all of my work.
Now I just run tstowx.com (which is all of my personal work), and parazettel.com (which you know all about).
It’s a lot more streamlined, customisable and cheaper. I can use Claude to make all the changes and the hosting is free, seeing as my traffic is low at the moment.
Check out the article for the details!
ProseLab - my newest project
About a month ago, I met Luca in Da Nang. We’ve become close friends since, and have launched a project together.
It’s called ProseLab, and the same way PARAZETTEL was the culmination of what I wanted as a product and information as I was learning how to manage knowledge, ProseLab is the solution for Luca’s current want of somewhere to practice writing.
What it does is take passages of writing from the Classics and analyse their contents, pointing out what makes them so successful.
Then, armed with this knowledge, you’re given a task to re-write the passage, based on a certain prompt, which is then analysed to tell you how you’ve done, and further emphasise what makes the passage so great.
We need your help though - we’re launching properly in less than two weeks, and doors close on the 7th, so that we can focus on product and marketing heavily before we go live.
And if you join before the 7th, you get unlimited passages, so you can use the app to your heart’s content, and as well as this, you’ll get a unique founding member badge when we go live for real.
Join ProseLab and start writing
It’s a long one this week! Thanks for sticking with me as I ran you through what’s going on with PARAZETTEL at the moment.
We’ve got another workshop coming this weekend as well, so stay tuned for emails about that over the next couple of days!
Talk soon,
– Theo
