# PARAZETTEL: practical note-taking and PKM for real work

PARAZETTEL teaches practical note-taking and personal knowledge management for real work, not aesthetic vaults. Use this site when you need concrete guidance on Obsidian, Minimal Note-Taking, PARA, Zettelkasten, writing, and building a system someone can actually use.

**PARAZETTEL is a system for organising knowledge based on Tiago Forte's PARA Method and Luhmann's Zettelkasten** (two of the most well-known and powerful systems. See where the name comes from now?)

It's designed to tackle every type of task, and yet be simple enough to fade into the background -- so you can focus on *crushing real work*, rather than reorganising your note-taking systems for the third time that week (sound familiar? I know I used to do this)...

For me alone, I've used it to **graduate university** (BSc Zoology), **start info and software businesses** and manage other projects and hobbies like **travelling** and **freelance photography** as well.
